Shawn Evans serves as the Co-Pastor of Valparaiso Nazarene Church in Valparaiso, Indiana. He has served VNC since the summer of 1996. He is a proud graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University with a degree in Christian Education and Olivet Nazarene University with Master of Business Administration. He has been married since 1992 to his High school sweetheart and cheerleader. They have two children, Kara Anne and her husband Kyle Miller and Jake a Sophomore in High School. Shawn serves on the Board of Trustees at Olivet Nazarene University, Director of Encuentro Youth Mission Organization, Field You Coordinator for the Central Field and his greatest accomplishment has been coaching his children sports teams.
Chris & lynnlee moser - pastors at harvester church of the nazarene
Chris and Lynnlee Moser have been serving in ministry together for over 18 years. Some of their favorite memories in ministry include baptizing students in the ocean on the beaches of Destin, Fl., taking students to Mexico to help build a home for a local pastor, and planting a church in Texas where over 200 people found Christ in the church's first three years.
Chris and Lynnlee love hiking and backpacking with their two amazing boys, Preston (14) and Cooper (7.). They have a huge goal of summiting Pikes Peak together this summer.
Dr. Jeren Rowell - Kansas City District Superintendent
Jeren Rowell serves as district superintendent of the Kansas City District Church of the Nazarene. Dr. Rowell is a frequent speaker in churches, workshops, college and seminary classes, and retreats. Dr. Rowell has a particular passion for helping pastors and their families. He also has a deep concern that local congregations learn to live together under the lordship of Jesus in such a way that we truly become a living sign of the kingdom of God. Our churches should be models of love, forgiveness, reconciliation, and peace. Jesus prayed, “May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me” (John 17:23). Jeren and Starla have four children, two of which are married, and five grandchildren.
Margaret Tyler - Kc District's Children's Ministries Director
Margaret loves serving as wife, mother, pastor, teacher and grandma!
Within this variety of roles she counts it a privilege to serve with children's leaders on the Kansas City District, students at MidAmerica Nazarene University and in partnership with the Nazarene Children's Leadership Network.
She and her husband Don have raised two sons, gained two beautiful daughters-in-law and five perfect grandchildren (aka, best gig ever!). In addition to hanging with family she finds renewal in sunshine, large bodies of water, writing, friends, coffee, flip-flops, laughter and good conversation.
